PICK UP A CAMERA...

FOCUS

The camera can’t ready your mind, so how do we get the camera to focus on what we want?

AP Mode

COMPOSITION

Simplify the scene. Declutter the background to draw attention to your subject.

Rule of thirds. Instead of placing your subject centre-frame, split the frame into thirds.

Fill the frame. Too much negative or unused space might not work for your photo.

Diagonal lines.

High or low.

Reflect.

LIGHTING

Light in photography refers to how the light source, which can be natural or artificial, is positioned in relation to your subject. The position and quality of light can affect any number of things in your final photo, from clarity to tone to emotion and so much more.
